Our Mission
Video is the dominant content format online, but it's not always the best format for consumption. Watching a 20-minute video to find one quote is inefficient. Analyzing 100 videos manually is impossible.
We built Scriptube to solve this problem. Whether you're a researcher analyzing interviews, a content creator repurposing videos, or a marketer studying competitors â we make it easy to extract transcripts from YouTube at scale.
The Story
Scriptube was founded in 2024 by Mihail Lungu, a software engineer who needed to extract transcripts from 500+ YouTube videos for a research project.
Existing tools required processing videos one-by-one, which would have taken weeks. So Alex built a batch processing tool that could handle hundreds of URLs at once. Friends and colleagues asked to use it, and Scriptube was born.
Today, Scriptube processes thousands of transcripts daily for content creators, researchers, marketers, and educators worldwide.
